PTA’s Take Your Family to School Week

Dear Parents and Guests:

Freedom High School PTSA is excited to announce that we have been chosen as winners of the 2009-2010, PTA’s “Take Your Family to School Week” Award!  Our program, Experience the Difference, was selected out of nearly 500 applications for the $1,897 award.

Experience the Difference … High School is not what it used to be.

Experience the Difference will offer parents and guests the opportunity to walk in a student’s shoes, or at least their class schedule, for a bit.  Attendees will be given a class schedule to follow to take “mini” classes that demonstrate the curriculum content our students study on a regular basis.  Attendees will receive grades from teachers at the end of each class, and at least one class will have a pop quiz!

Experience the Difference will showcase the rigor of the high school curriculum and will open dialogue with student about life in high school in 2010.

Experience the Difference … High School is not what it used to be.

Join us on February 18, 2010, at 6 P.M. in Freedom High School’s Media Center to begin to Experience the Difference.  The evening’s events will conclude by 8:30.

We hope you will join us for a fun and informative evening.  Kindly RSVP to nmd113@yahoo.com

Sincerely,

Donna Moffatt, President                              Christopher Farkas, Principal
